Industrial loft interior takes place in a converted soviet factory "MATAS" building. The location contain a lot of industrial atmosphere to this day as the cement production site is still operational. An area for appartment is relatively small what makes it a reall challenge to design a comfortable space for a middle-aged woman working in a retail industry. The main design decision was to expand space by building a mezzanine on top of which the sleeping space and cloakroom are located. Bellow a bathroom with a natural light opening was created. The kitchen takes a tiny bit of the room whereas the living space is dominating the whole apartment. These proportions are very applicable to the lifestyle of outgoing and young soul inhabitant. The atmosphere is a contextual industrial one mixed with cosy warm-colored interior elements and pure white space surroundings.
