The industrial loft interior takes place in a converted soviet factory "MATAS" building. The location contains a lot of industrial atmosphere to this day as the cement production site is still operational. An area for an apartment is relatively small which makes it a real challenge to design a comfortable space for a middle-aged woman working in the retail industry. The main design decision was to expand space by building a mezzanine on top of which the sleeping space and cloakroom are located. Bellow a bathroom with a natural light opening was created. The kitchen takes a tiny bit of the room whereas the living space dominates the whole apartment. These proportions are very applicable to the lifestyle of outgoing and young soul inhabitants. The atmosphere is a contextual industrial one mixed with cosy warm-colored interior elements and pure white space surroundings.
